ABOUT

Hi, my name is Sil and I live in Toronto Canada with my husband and my cat and dog. I LOVE all animals big, and small and I wish I could be a vegetarian ( I love bacon too much).  I really do eat a ton of veggies, and meatless meals, but from time to time I can't resist a hamburger or bacon with my eggs. My dream home would be somewhere with a lot of land and trees, but unfortunately I am a city girl who dreams of the forest and mountains.

 I run two online stores, LOVE n LAVISH which is my Etsy shop that I started in 2011. I also opened a new shop called Fauna and Forest which focuses more on my pressed flower jewelry.

I love the feeling of being by the water and when I get a chance I can spend the whole day outside in the forest hiking. Plants and flowers inspire me daily and you can see that in my work.

At home I spend time creating, hanging out with my amazing husband, and our two fur-balls  Misha
(our rescue cat) and Coffee, my super adorable Puggle.

Things that I love are black coffee with a few ice cubes, a funny book, because there are not a lot of them out there, cute items like owl cups and cat figurines, ignoring phone calls ( I will call back eventually) and a really great tasting glass of red wine. What do I blog about?

I like to keep it short, I know we all have busy lives. I love to blog about books,fashion,crafts,food,art,home and decor,my pets,and anything else that grabs me.
