Hello September!

I love September. I love it because it's still warm out, but not the same summer heat that by the end of August I'm kind of tired of.  I have a really busy September coming up. First I must get by the first week and a half of September  before I go on my trip to the Dominican. This was K's choice for our vacation, and since I usually pick the place it will be interesting to see how we feel about going there. I always hear people have an awesome time there.

While we are there we will be celebrating 6 years of marriage. Yup, 6! No kids yet, but it's given us a chance to truly experience growing up, doing what we want and getting all of that selfish stuff out of the way. Time has flown by, but I know that fun time for us will have to change sooner then later if we want to extend our family to something other then us and fur-babies. Baby making on this vacation??? Maybe?!

Then when we get back it's my birthday. Don't ask this girl what the number is. Once I hit a certain age ( anything past 27) that number becomes something I tell certain people. Once again time flies! I don't have any plans really. I know I want to wear this sexy black dress and eat out somewhere new. Other then that I have to real set plans.

Then at the end of the month my husbands friend is getting married. I love weddings, who doesn't. I love getting dressed up, getting my hair done, free drinks and a nice meal and hopefully some dancing. Anyway, that September for me. I hope it's an awesome one!

September Birthday

 I had an awesome birthday as predicted. We woke up early and went out for breakfast, where I had yummy bacon, eggs, toast and a cup of coffee all for a really great cost. The weather was so nice for September,so we sat outside on the patio.

My husband treated, and then we went for a long walk. On the way home this woman was walking her dog, and behind them, about 10 paces was an orange cat who was meowing. The woman walking her dog said her cat has to come on the walks and follows them, but he likes to complain the whole time. His name was Pickle,which is a great name for a funny cat.

Later I got a pedicure and picked out this awesome turquoise colored nail polish. My mom took me out for dinner and later at home I topped off the evening with a large slice of chocolate cake, a glass of wine and a hot bath. Oh and i'm finishing off the last Fifty Shades book, just because I unwisely bought the whole trilogy. I would not recommend these books unless you like cheesy novels.

Birthday Plans

Tomorrow is my birthday!! I love my birthday and even if I don't do anything too exciting, it's still a great day. I start my new job next week so I do not have to work or book a doctors appointment just to get out of work (teehee).

Tomorrow I plan on spending the morning with the best guy in the world, my hubby. I'm going to drag us out of bed early, take us down the street to this cute family run breakfast/lunch shop and enjoy my birthday morning. As far as the rest of the day goes, I'll wing it and do whatever I feel like.

Okay, so now I am getting carried away, but man oh man if I had this hot tub or even a chance so soak in it for the day then my birthday would be really fantastic.

What would be a fabulous birthday gift is to get this book by Deborah Harkness, which is the second book of the trilogy. I might cuddle up with my dog Coffee later in the evening and enjoy some red wine and start on the second book.

Anyway, another year to celebrate! I won't blog tomorrow, but I take some pics during breakfast and post them on Wednesday.
