Mini Vacation Revisited

This past summer K and I took a mini weekend vacation to Niagara Falls. We have been there a few times, but this time we went in the middle of the summer. It was a really nice getaway where we ditched the dog and cat and spent 3 days just to ourselves.

That's me sitting under a tree that had some serious character. I love all the bumps on that tree.

This is not from the Botanical gardens, but the Buddhist temple close by.

                                                                       I love this view

I love getting out for long walks and K and I decided to walk from the center of Niagara falls to the Butterfly Conservatory/Botanical Gardens. The pictures above are from that trip. The walk took almost 3 hours which is fine since we took lots of photos and a few breaks along the way. Hope you like! Also, I have updated and added a few photo's in my About section of my blog, so check it out.

Sunday Creating Time

Another rainy day.... and I hear there is more rain to come. I hope this storm that is coming is all blown out of proportion, and I am thinking that Toronto may just get a lot of wind and hard rain at the most. All of this inside time has given me a chance to add items to my two shops. I have added some new photos, made some edits, and Pinned on Pinterest this morning, like there is no tomorrow (yikes!). Check them out!

 1. Feather and Leaf Earrings see them here. Turquoise chips added to the first two feather earrings and the leaf earrings  have these amazing mint blue/green Czech glass beads.

2. Real Flower in Resin Necklaces see them here . I love the romantic look of the rose bud pendant, and the yellow wild flower fit perfectly for that shape of pendant. I love working with real flowers and plants.

3. Tribal Inspired Turquoise bead necklace worn my me and seen here. The purple Amethyst stone necklace has some of the most amazing shades of purple  (which isn't so easy to photograph) and a real earthy look which can be seen here.
