Long Time Since A Post- Update

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted. I still have my shop, but I don't have the time that I use to. I am a Mother now of a 20 Month old and I try to find time to work on my shop while he has a nap. I'm not sure how it will work once he doesn't nap. Hopefully by then he will be in school or preschool. I love my son so much and motherhood is damn hard and rewarding at the same time. I have a much greater appreciation for my own mother who I have always known was awesome, but now I have a bigger love for her.

Things change, and just before my son arrived my dog died. Gosh I loved that dog with all my heart and I don't know how we go on when our pets die. She was so funny and kind hearted and I miss her dearly. I think of her daily and wish we had a few more years with her.

I've changed the look of my jewelry and with that I am able to access stones that I really love. Labradorite is one of my favorite stones and you can find a lot of different pendants available in my shop. I have a lot of Turquoise as well as Jasper stones and a few other types of stones that I am drawn to. I love how my shop is running right now and I hope that I can have an awesome year because my family needs it right now. We are saving so that we make some changes in our life. I'm not ready to speak about it fully at the moment, but I will post some personal news soon.

Anyway, here is a look at some new items in my shop. Find me on instagram!

Colors that Inspire

When I originally moved out of my family home to get married 7 years ago the internet was not very inspiring, and so I decorated my new apartment without too much thought. I brought items with me from my single days at home, and so did my husband and we meshed them together.

Seven years later, and I now think it is time for an update.  Now you can find great inspiration online from websites such as Pinterest, Etsy and Chairish when it comes to how to decorate your home. I  do still love the colors that I picked for my apartment, because the peach is inviting, so that I always feel happy and warm in my main living room. As for our bedroom, I am not sure if I would paint it a deep rich red again. It is a bit too dark and gives too much of a cool feeling, but it does have that sexy mood I was going for, so  I will stick with it.

If you are looking to decorate a new home or revamp a few new rooms, posted here is an Infographic from Chairish which is really helpful when choosing colors that mix well with one another.

Below are some looks for the home which inspired me and got me excited about revamping my apartment. Check out Chairish for a variety of really stunning accent chairs, and if your looking for some really unique Art work to hang on your wall, Etsy is the place to go. I picked a lot of items with in the Light Bright and Modern feel, since its usually what I am drawn to and it would look good with what is currently in my home.

Summer's Beautiful Things

I love the summer! I love the beautiful flowers, the lush plants, the heat on my skin and I love it when it cools down at night and I can go for a long walk with my husband and my dog. I know I've been neglecting my blog a bit. It's summer, and I have been enjoying the outdoors because Ontario has nice weather for a limited time only, and then it expires. When I am at home I'm working online on my shop or making new products.

Today, I have shared with you some of my new pressed flower and plant jewelry which I will be posting up in my shop today or tomorrow. You get to view it first! Also, check out MightyGoods.com which was sweet enough to post one of my pieces today on their site.

Enjoy your week!
