What's New in June
I hope that you have been enjoying the beginning of summer. We have been getting a lot of rain, but there have been some nice sunny hot days to enjoy, like today.
I have been updating my shop slowly and even changing my stock a bit. Here are some fresh new items in my shop, such as a personally hand sawed boho cactus, lots of healing stones with some real beauties like the Emerald and Lapis and Citrine I have added. I will be adding a few more bracelets to my shop, but right now I have a stunning blue stacking bracelet and a lovely ceramic yoga OM encircled by a lotus flower. I hope you see something you like from my shop, and if you do, please enjoy this 25% off coupon : Instagive25 shared here on my blog and Instagram. Also if you are wondering where I have been and why my blog entries are so sparse, check out my Instagram page and you can see much more of what i'm up to.

Another Anniversary Celebration!
Happy Etsy Anniversary! June 12 2011 I had the motivation and curiosity in me to see what it would be like to open a shop on Etsy. I had to come up with a name, and I had about five products to list ( which I think is kind of funny now), as well as make my first banner which looked very amateur. Within the first 5 minutes of listing my products I sold a pair of turquoise earrings! I was so excited and naively thought that I would continue to be so easy.
This year I have 71 products listed, my Graphic Design husband does my banners for me now, my photos have greatly improved and I am on my way to my 400th sale! Each year I have a goal, each year I get really excited when I send out an item somewhere new ( this year it was Malta).
I hope that the end of this year and the beginning of the next takes my small business venture somewhere even larger. I want to expand my pieces and educate myself more on the world of jewelry creating, as well as learn even more about running my own online business.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my shop over the years! I will be having an Anniversary Sale for the next few days, and a lot of new items have been added.
Enjoy this 15% OFF coupon code which you apply at checkout to get the discount: Anniversary

Wow, That's HOT!
I love yoga, and I have done it off and on for 5 or 6 years now. I have always done really basic classes and I would say my last class that I took was about a year or more ago. A new friend from work wanted to try a yoga class together and so we talked about it in the winter and it never happened. This Thursday our schedules worked and so we met up for some HOT yoga in this studio that neither of us have been to.
I came prepared, knowing that hot yoga meant sweat. I wore a running tank and I wore my gym pants. I cranked my thick hair up in a ponytail and brought a full bottle of water and a towel. My friend on the other hand wore long sleeves, had her hair down and did not bring water.
The reception area was pretty warm/ stuffy, so I knew that meant that the main yoga room would be even hotter. We chatted for a while and then chatted on our mats in the studio while we waited for the teacher to start. While we talked about work I noticed I already had a pool of sweat dripping down my chest.
Our teacher started the class and it really was not anything different from what I expected, other then having sweat pouring down my face, my arms, my back....everywhere.
The worst part of the whole thing is that the only time we could go to was the 75min class. If I had started with a 30min class then I think I would have enjoyed it more. I started to feel sick about 45 minutes in, and I would have to rest. From time to time I would glance at my friend and she and I would give each other that look like, what did we get ourselves into.
But I survived, and I do want to take another class, just not for so long. After, when I was at home I felt so good. Maybe it was because I had challenged myself and tried something new. And I kind of liked sweating. Do you do Yoga? Have you tried Hot Yoga and so, did you like it?

Simple Rules for Happiness!
Today is a quick post. I have been a bit busy this weekend and I also need to get some sold items ready to ship for tomorrow. I love when I sell something and see where that piece is going. One of my items is flying off tomorrow to Vancouver, my favorite place to vacation. It's so pretty and I kind of wish I was going there too. Oh well..
So, today I picked two great saying from my Pinterest board. They are simple ways to remind yourself to be happy with the little things in life. Also my 20%OFF Sale ends tomorrow and you can check out my shop here. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Thanksgiving and Black Friday Sales!
So the last few days I have been working on making some new items for my shop and preparing for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. I even asked my husband to make me a shop banner, which I never do because it's my shop and I'm a bit of a control freak with how it looks. I really like the banner he made me (he's a graphic designer) and I may get him to make me another after the sale is over (yup I'm giving in). Right now through Monday I am having a sale giving 20% off when you use this coupon code: CyberSale2012. Coupon codes don't always get used by shoppers, which I never understand, so if you do shop on Etsy, enter the Coupon Code at checkout and you will see the discount.
