Meow!

Ahh.. it's nice to be somewhat healthy again. I have an occasional sneeze here and there, but the Kleenex box isn't following me from room to room. I did have to go to work with it, and I was so exhausted yesterday that I took a 3 hour nap and woke up with a really bad headache. Then I watched a few old episodes of Game of Thrones, and went to bed at 11pm, which is really early for me. Today I feel good!

So,today I was looking around for a cool gift for my cat Misha. She's pretty easy to please since she is just a cat. She really could use an id tag, but these were some cool gifts for your kitty that I thought I would share.

1. I do love the idea of this cat bed/home and hey, if you have an old Mac lying around and a cat who naps anywhere then here is a great project. If your not a DIY kind of girl then find this great idea by Atomic Attic , it's an Upcycled Apple Computer Pet Bed that they call Think Different.

2. Great personalized cat dishes by Sunshine Ceramics. You can get two custom made and personalized just for you kitties.

3. Bow Ties anyone? My cat might sport one, well I'm not too sure. If you have a really chill cat that would wear one of these with no fuss then check out Snoop Catty Cat for a tie,bow tie or even a tux.

 4. So this wouldn't work for Misha, but if you have a cat who loves to hang out in hard to reach places, then this wall bed is perfect. I love this idea and if my cat wasn't the type who likes to sleep in little nooks and cranny's then I would consider something like this wall mounted cat bed

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Sunday Creating Time

Another rainy day.... and I hear there is more rain to come. I hope this storm that is coming is all blown out of proportion, and I am thinking that Toronto may just get a lot of wind and hard rain at the most. All of this inside time has given me a chance to add items to my two shops. I have added some new photos, made some edits, and Pinned on Pinterest this morning, like there is no tomorrow (yikes!). Check them out!

 1. Feather and Leaf Earrings see them here. Turquoise chips added to the first two feather earrings and the leaf earrings  have these amazing mint blue/green Czech glass beads.

2. Real Flower in Resin Necklaces see them here . I love the romantic look of the rose bud pendant, and the yellow wild flower fit perfectly for that shape of pendant. I love working with real flowers and plants.

3. Tribal Inspired Turquoise bead necklace worn my me and seen here. The purple Amethyst stone necklace has some of the most amazing shades of purple  (which isn't so easy to photograph) and a real earthy look which can be seen here.

Sweet Items to Have!

Thank goodness it's Friday! Today is my day off and I was able to sleep in a bit and relax. I have no plans for today other then shopping for my nephews birthday present. Which got me looking around and finding really sweet cute things that I actually want for myself. Maybe you have a niece or nephew too, or you just love cute animal items like myself. Anyone thinking of Christmas shopping yet? Yikes, it does seem a bit early, but I would rather get it over with sooner then later. Anyway, I hope you love all of these amazing handmade items. Enjoy your weekend!

1. One Little Red Fox has these really hip and cute plush toys. I love this retro badger and his fun pink glasses.

2. Mount Royal Mint makes these sly looking fox soft sculptures seen on the left. They are so perfect together, you kind of wonder what kind of nonsense they get up to. I also love skunks and this skunk is red sweater is a great touch. The sweater skunk is sculpted from polymer clay, painted and has a cool embroidered felt tail.

 3. Gingiber has this black sheep pillow ( I love the bit of attitude this guy has) that any nursery could sport. The back of this pillow even has a really cool plaid fabric. This is also a print which would look awesome up on your living room wall.

4. Mystic Moose sells these really great eco-friendly totes with many different animals to choose from. I love this fox illustration Ceridwen has created and put on her totes and gift tags. Her shop has a great variety to choose from.

 5. Roddy and Ginger's screenprint Owl caught my owl this morning because I do have a thing for green owls. Their items have this wonderful mid-century folk-art twist.

6. Blue Eyed Night Owl's Cat Lover Bookmark is so adorable and handy because you will never loose your page. I love books and journals and this bookmark can even be used to keep your journal closed. Laura also sells sweet owl brooches, great for all of those owl item collectors out there.
