Sunday is so Sunny!

Happy Sunday! I worked yesterday, so I am setting out to enjoy Sunday fully. July has only just arrived, yet its so much hotter and sunnier then June. I also bought some sweet new stones on Friday and I would like to make something out of a few of them today. So that's my plan for my Sunday. Enjoy yours too, wherever you are.

Friday Happiness

Happy Friday! Is anyone as happy about this as me? I'm hoping I don't get called into work tomorrow, just because I would like to rest and get things a bit ready for my vacation. I also need to clean up. That's the great thing about going away. My place is a bit of a mess and with my mom coming to feed my cat while we are away I need to make some effort, I need to take the time and clean. I'm not a neat freak or a total slob, but house cleaning does get neglected. Also, I'd like to get some new items for my shop LOVE n LAVISH photographed and into my shop as well as make a few new items.

I have some news too! We found a kitten and brought it home! Okay, well K's parents found a kitten  on their porch and because I am the animal lover in the family I said I would foster this kitten.If the kitten fits in with my current pets then we will keep it.  I have a dog and cat already, but I have never had a kitten. My first cat was brought home by my dad when I was three so that doesn't count. Then, the cat I had as a teenager was 6 months old when we bought it, and pretty large kitten. Misha, who is my current cat was adopted at age 2 from a shelter.  Any advice from other cat owners who have raised their cat when it was a kitten? This one has a lot of spunk. She or he is about a month old.

Saturday Cuteness

How cute are these two? I personally don't like to cuddle to that degree, but these two are so cute! I hope your weekend is going well so far. All I have planned is a long run along the Lakeshore tomorrow. I was thinking of going today, but the temperature has dipped a bit low and it would be really chilly today down by the lake.

Last weekend was a long weekend for us in Ontario. K and I went down by the Lake and spent the day walking and talking. I brought my roll-out wicker mat and we sat in the park under the trees and drank a beer in the grass. I love stuff like that, sweet and simple. We played Frisbee too, which I was really rusty at the first  minutes ( I actually missed the Frisbee and it donked me in the head) and we saw this guy run through the park who looked a lot like the guy from the Hangover ( Zack Galifianakis) and that cracked us up. We continued our walk and basically found the perfect trail for me to jog and for K to get a good long Rollerblade. My goal of getting in shape and committing to running has been going very well and I think K wants to do the same. He's not a runner, but he loves his blades, so I hope that he commits to some sort of activity weekly.

Anyway, I'm off to walk my dog and enjoy the day!

What's New?

Hello and I hope my fellow Canadian's had a terrific Thanksgiving! We have recovered, and now  it's back to work, but it's one day closer to Wednesday right?

Wassupbrothers Great Giveaway

A few weeks ago I entered Wassupbrothers giveaway for one of Olga's sweet little owls. I picked the color and won the giveaway! I love Wassupbrothers sweet soft creatures and was so excited for the arrival of my cutie and wanted you guys to see her. By the way I named her Eve.

The weekend is almost near and I can see Friday is just around the corner. It's time for my favorite treat of the week. I'm easy to please...... a warm soak and a large glass of red wine. Any wine recommendations?
